It’s backed by the West Coast locals, and supported by iwi and government to create employment and positive economic impacts for the local community and New Zealand as a whole. WMS Group are leading the dawn of a multi-generational industry for Aotearoa New Zealand and the West Coast region.
This one was close to our hearts. Being born and bred on the West Coast of New Zealand, it is fantastic to see a company base itself just outside of Westport. Not only does Westland Mineral Sands (WMSC) offer a huge amount of employment for the region but it also restores the land to be better than it was before.
We wanted the brand and design to feel local and representative of the process. The earthy colour palette and imagery help solidify this.
