Master Kong is a one-of-a-kind bar and restaurant on Wellington’s waterfront. It is renound for it’s kick-ass Asian street food.
Working on this project was an amazing experience. We had an opportunity to create something that is not like anything else in Wellington. From the get-go, the theme and tone was to reflect old Bruce Lee style kung-fu and Asian street style and cuisine. The result was a full-on, layered approach to the design with an eclectic use of imagery, illustration and typography that works seamlessly with the interior fit-out. It’s a joy to visit, not only for the amazing atmosphere and service, but the food and drink selection is mouth watering!
